Hap Seng Plantations’ activities are located mainly in the Lahad Datu region in Sabah and consist of three Groups of Oil Palm Estates – Tomanggong Group of Estates, Sungai Segama Group of Estates, Jeroco Group of Estates – as well as Ladang Kawa Estate in Tawau and Pelipikan Estate in Kota Marudu.

The total area of Hap Seng Plantations estates is 39,803 hectares. Hap Seng Plantations operates on one contiguous block of plantation land of approximately 36,354 hectares between Lahad Datu and Sandakan region, in addition to two smaller plantations of 1,276 hectares in Tawau and 2,173 hectares in Kota Marudu. 34,467 hectares of planted area comprises 32,576 hectares of matured oil palm and 1,891 hectares of immature plantings.
Production of FFB for the financial year 2009 was 672,768 metric tons. The average Oil Extraction Rate (OER) of the Division's four Palm Oil Mills was 21.62%. Overall Crude Palm Oil (CPO) production was 140,985 metric tons. Palm Kernel (PK) production for the year was 30,821 metric tons, with an extraction rate of 4.73%.
